The most helpful book for me is the famous English novel “Jane Eyre” written by Charlotte Bronte. The heroine called Jane Eyre is outwardly of poor appearance but plucky. It encourages people to challenge fate and take a positive and independent attitude to fight for freedom and equality, thus allowing access to our own happiness.

These days, many people around me are discussing something on reading. What they ask the most is that “Which book do you like the best？”

Like most of girls , I like reading fictions very much, especially on love story, And I also love to read some great books such as " Wuthering Heights" , "Oliver Twist" , "Pride and Prejudice" and so on. But I find it a little boring to read this kind of book. Perhaps this is the cultural differences between China and the West caused by it.

In a word, I prefer reading books written by Chinese writers . And my favorite book is named "The Best Thing I Did Is to Love You". It tells us a story between a hotel manager and a medical practitioner who both have been hurt by their lovers.

Thought the plot is familiar to me , it was the language of light and warmth of life details that moved me a lot. 三、托福口语题型技巧

独立口语题

新托福口语考试的前两题属于独立口语题，考察的不仅是学生的语言能力，还有发散思维的能力。要求考生在15秒钟的准备时间之后，用45秒来回答问题。这些问题都是最身边、最生活、最简单的话题，考生只要用最简单的语言答问题之所问即可。

小贴士1：尽可能地使自己的答题完整些，在未完成自己要表达的一个要点前，不要转到下一个要点。

小贴士2：在独立口语题中要获得高分的很大一个关键是充分并有逻辑性地表达自己的观点。但这并不意味着你需要给出非常多的要点，按照一般中国考生的英文语速，两个要点足以在规定时间内达到很好的效果。

小贴士3：答题时不一定要遵循真实想法，可以适当给出合理的“白色谎言”，一切答题均以方便自己作答为主。

小贴士4：许多考生喜欢在答题的第一句话给出类似“I have three (or whatever) reasons to support my idea”这样的topic sentence，但却又往往出现规定时间内无法完成自己的要点作答。因此，建议考生可在topic sentence时以“I have a couple of reasons to say。”这样抽象的概念取代。
